11-story Neo-Renaissance residential building completed in 1907 as a 10-story office building. Designed by Albert C. Hessel, it is clad in buff-colored brick above a 2-story limestone base. The ground floor is split into two glass-and-metal storefronts, with the north one next to the main entrance (with a glass door, sidelight, and transom) and the south one next to a steel service door. The 2nd floor has two wide studio windows, each with two large middle panes, and stacked end panes. A thin band course caps the base.
The upper floors have four bays of single-windows with simple stone sills, and the brick piers are banded. There are numerous areas of patching on the facade with lighter-colored brick. The 8th floor is topped by a corbelled band course, and the 9th-10th floors have smaller banding on the outer piers, with white stone on the three middle piers, each with a decorative shield with garlands and hanging bellflowers at the 10th floor. The 11th floor was added later, and has lighter-colored brick, with pairs of thin metal bars attached to the piers, each rising above the roof line to a contemporary metal parapet fence at the top.
The building was converted to residential use in 1999, with nine condominium units. The north and south elevations are clad in plain brown and reddish brick, with windows only at the rear half of each. The ground floor is occupied by Just Salad, and Emperor Dumpling.
