Rose Hill Condominium

USA / New Jersey / West New York / East 29th Street, 30
 condominium, postmodern (architecture)

639-foot, 45-story Neo-Art-Deco/postmodern residential building completed in 2021 for the Rockefeller Group. Designed by CetraRuddy as a modern interpretation of Art-Deco architecture, it is known as Rose Hill since the area was once home to a 130-acre property known as Rose Hill Farm.

The tower is setback on a low-rise podium and its east façade of the tower is slightly cantilevered at the 14th floor. Near the top, it has some balconies with chevron-type failings and the tower is strongly punctuated vertically by six, wide and dark chevron pilasters and culminates at its peak with brightly lit piers of several stories in two setbacks. The ornamental parapet incorporates several setbacks adorned with dark etched metal panels, corner balconies, and black grilles.

In addition to the chevron pattern on the dark brown vertical panels that run the height of the structure, the voids above the ground floor feature a gold-colored motif of diagonal lines atop mesh grilles.

The building contains 123 condominium units.
