The Edwardian Room

USA / New Jersey / West New York / Fifth Avenue, 768
 historic landmark, Mission Revival (architecture)

Designed by Wm. Baumgarten & Company in the Spanish Renaissance Revival style based on the banquet hall in Hadden Hall, England. The design features paneled oak wainscoting and an elaborate trussed ceiling with carved bosses, stenciled decoration and mirrors between the truss struts. Its light fixtures were produced by the Sterling Bronze Company. It opened in 1907 as a men's-only grill. By the 1920's, became a popular restaurant for both men and women.

In 2011, the interior was altered by Adam Tihany. The restaurant closed in 2011 and was repurposed as retail space for Italian menswear designer Angelo Galasso. That store closed soon after. The room is today used as function space.
