Penescal Wind Farm is located about 7-15 miles south of Baffin Bay (inlet) south of Corpus Christi, Texas. It is the second most southerly (and the closest to the Gulf coast) of 4 contiguous wind farms in the area south of Baffin Bay. Commissioned in 2009, it consists of 84 Mitsubishi MWT-92/2.4 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 201.6 MW.
