Plana is a small and medium-high mountain in Western Bulgaria, located in the easternmost part of the Zaval-Plan mountain range. Initially, the mountain was considered part of Vitosha. For the first time, the Shkorpil brothers called it by the name of its main hill, called Plana, and singled it out as a separate mountain.
