Ashtabula 3 Wind Farm is located to the east of Lake Ashtabula, about 10-22 miles (14-31 km) north and northeast of Valley City, North Dakota. Commissioned in 2010, it consists of 39 GE Energy 1.6xle wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 62.4 MW. The turbines are in two clusters, both north and (south)west of the pre-existing Ashtabula 1 wind farm.
