Former Honeywell Inc campus before the company left the Twin Cities. Wells Fargo (which has a large presence in the Twin Cities due to its previous merger with local Norwest Bank) bought the 28-acre campus in 1999 for $38m. There were some issues with the previous layout for a mortgage business, so it underwent a massive renovation completed in four phases and included the demolition of one building and a major renovation and refurbishment of two additional buildings totaling 778,000 square feet. A new 228,000 square foot building and a new 2,000-stall parking structure were also constructed. It has several thousand employees consolidated from six Twin Cities locations into a single campus.
