Built in 1928 by movie mogul William Fox, and designed by Detroit architect, C. Howard Crane, the Fox Theatre is recognized as one of the world's most glorious theatres. Restored in 1988, the Fox hosts major entertainment and special events. This theater has been known as Detroit's crown jewel.
