This is Downtown Detroit. Home to the Renaissance Center, Penobscot Building, Greektown, and many bars, restuarants, and apartment/condo complexes. It is also home to three of Detroit's four professional sports teams, the Red Wings of hockey, the Tigers of baseball, and the Lions of football. Also home to Foxtown, one of the areas finest districts for theatre and music. Also located here is Campus Martius, Detroit's best public park for gatherings. Detroit's Riverfront begins here right on the Detroit River behind the Renaissance Center. A revitalized riverfront for the public.
