Loraine Windpark is the 3rd of what was planned to be 3 phases of "Loraine" wind farms sitting immediately west of the previous Roscoe wind farm. It is located mostly 1-4 miles north of Loraine (which is on Interstate 20 about 18 miles west of Sweetwater, Texas). Construction was never (as of 2017) completed, however, and the project currently consists of 66 finished turbine bases without turbines.
