The Loraine II Wind Farm is the 2nd of what was planned to be 3 phases of "Loraine" wind farms sitting immediately west of the previous Roscoe wind farm. It is located about 1-3 miles east and northeast of Loraine (which is on Interstate 20 about 18 miles west of Sweetwater, Texas). Commissioned in 2011, it consists of 32 GE Energy 1.5xle wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 48 MW.
