4-story Italianate residential building completed in 1867 as a townhouse. Sometime around 1900 the lower two floors were remodeled with a projecting, 2-story storefront of brick and cast-iron. The 2nd floor still has the large, 4-paned window set in its black iron frame. The top two floors are clad in beige-painted brownstone, with two bays of windows. Those on the 3rd floor have rounded pediments surmounting the stone surrounds, while there are peaked pediments at the 4th floor. The facade is crowned by a bracketed and paneled roof cornice.
