7 Bryant Park (New York City, New York)

USA / New Jersey / West New York / New York City, New York / Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas), 1045
 office building, apartment building

441-foot, 28-story modernist office building completed in 2015. Designed by Yvonne Szeto and Harry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners for the Bank of China, it is clad in a curtain wall of silvery glass and stainless steel. The most interesting feature of the design is the two cones at the northeast corner, facing Bryant Park, that are carved out of the facade. The first cone rises from the 10th-floor setback to the roof. The other, opening downward, clears space for a circular canopy, made of stainless steel, hovering above the building’s concave entrance. A subway entrance is built into the building's south facade on 39th Street. The ground floor is occupied by Bank of China, and La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
