141-foot, 12-story Beaux-Arts cooperative-apartment building completed in 1903. Designed by Neville & Bagge, it is four bays wide. The 2-story base is faced in rusticated limestone. The recessed main entrance is in the 2nd-from eastern bay, up a small set of steps. The two western bays have been combined into a modernized storefront with a window and door, and also stairs down to a basement entrance. A black metal canopy covers the entrance. The 2nd floor has segmental-arched triple-windows in the middle bays, topped by cartouches with foliate carvings. The two end bays have single-windows with bracketed sills and small escutcheons below. Three ornate console brackets flank the middle bays and support a balustraded stone balcony at the 3rd floor.
The transitional 3rd floor has piers with thick bands of stone and red brick. There are stone-framed double-windows in the middle bays, and single-windows in the end bays. Those at the end bays have keystones, and the middle bays have carved ornament with hanging pendants highlighting two curving, projecting bases for bay windows above. A dentiled cornice caps the 3rd floor, wrapping around the projecting bays.
The upper floors are clad in red brick, with black cast-iron framed projecting bay windows in the middle bays of the 4th-9th floors that have carved spandrels in between floors. The end bays at the 4th-9th floors have stone sills and splayed lintels. The windows are either 1-over-1 or have vertical mullions down the center. Each has a metal vent cut below. The edges of the facade on these floors are keyed with black brick.
The 10th floor is also red brick, with vertical stone bands on the piers, and stone-framed windows, wider in the middle. The top two floors have edges of keyed stone and keyed stone frames around the sides of the windows. Rounded stone clamshell balconies front the bays of the 12th floor. The facade is topped by a roof parapet that is stepped up at the ends.
The building contains 80 apartments. The ground floor is occupied by HairOSH salon, and Psychic Visions.
