The Indigo Condominium (New York City, New York)

USA / New Jersey / West New York / New York City, New York / West 21st Street, 125
 condominium, postmodern (architecture)

144-foot, 13-story modernist residential building completed in 2007 for Alchemy Properties. Designed by Fox & Fowle, it is clad in zinc and aluminum. The facade is divided into four bays by white stone piers at the ground floor, and by grey zinc piers above. The cladding is made up of horizontal panels, which continue on the spandrels between floors.

Three of the bays consist of window groups separated by grey metal mullions; each bay is further separated into two parts by grey pilasters with white projecting edges. Horizontal metal railings run across the bases of the windows in these bays. The other bay, second from the west, is clad in black-painted aluminum and glass, and angles back to the right. The bay has six windows at each floor. At every other floor, the zinc spandrel panels matching the other bays continue across, running straight over the angled bay. The angled bay continues up for another four stories above the 9th floor, where the zinc facade sets back at the other three bays. These bays continue on the recessed upper levels with the same cladding. There are large, glass-enclosed balconies in an angled extension on the second-from-eastern bay at the 10-12th floors that attaches to the main, taller angled bay.

The building contains 52 condominium units. The ground floor is occupied by Sherwin Williams paint store, and Print Icon printing center.
