142-foot, 11-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1896 as a commercial loft building. The ground floor has narrow cast-iron framing around a storefront and building entrance, surrounded by light-colored stone panels. The 2nd floor is four bays wide, clad in beige brick, with banding of patterned stone. The ornate 3rd floor has brick outer piers, and rounded, fluted Corinthian columns in the center. Intricately carved stone panels are at the top and bottom of each window bay, and stone cartouche-like ornament highlights the top of the piers.

The 4th-9th floors are all similar, with brick cladding and recessed windows, and projecting sill courses below each floor that have arched corbelling. The center of the top of the 9th floor has a wide and ornate stone ornament set just below a decorative cornice that sets off the top two floors. These both have round-arched windows, and round columns between the bays, doubled at the outside edges. The arched have rusticated architraves, and there is a very ornate stone roof cornice.

In 1948 it was joined internally with No. 832 next door, and later converted to residential use. The ground floor is occupied by Ibiza Kidz shoes and toys.
