This is the site of Springvale Coal Services which is owned and operated by Centennial Coal and it occupies part of the old Lamberts Gully Mine Site, and a previously mined pit area is still used by Centennial as a reject emplacement area for the nearby Springvale Coal Services washery. The site infrastructure consists of a coal washery, reject and tailings disposal facilities, and a network on conveyors from the existing Springvale Colliery to both the Wallerawang and Mount Piper Power Stations and from the Springvale Coal Services site to Lidsdale Siding for export. It is also connected to the Springvale and Angus Place mines, and Piper and Wallerawang Power Stationson dedicated haul roads.
