at the beginning of Baytown's effort to revitalize the old Texas Avenue Downtown the large abandoned structure on this block was demolished and replaced with a small parking lot. Recently the entire block has been redeveloped into a park featuring a central fountain that can support a Christmas tree during the winter. The park also has a ice skating rink in the winter.
