Notes: This cabin is representative of the structures that fur trappers, hunters and other people who desired relative isolation built in the early 20th century in hard-to-reach areas of Alaska. Harry A. Johnson was one such person, and he hunted and trapped in the area surrounding this rustic cabin. Additionally, he was an avid photographer and was considered by many to be one of the best wildlife photographers in Alaska.
