Whitebead used to have a "college," the Pierce Institute, located east of the cemetery. Once quite the place. Always proud of their academics. Boundary is unofficial and drawn from "memory." The old Kimberlin Mansion still stands. WG Kimberlin "started" Whitebead. Whitebead is supposedly named for an influential Caddo Indian woman that wore white beads.
