The basilica of Qalb Lhose (Heart of the Almond) is one of the best preserved and most beautiful basilicas of northern Syria and the early Christian period in general. In terms of the development of Byzantine sacral architecture, it takes a key position as it combines the style of the Northern Limestone Massif and the one of the capitals. Worth a longer visit.
