This forest lake is located east of Indian Ridge and west of the South Fork McKenzie River in the Willamette National Forest. It is accessible from spur road 230, off Forest Road 1980, via a short trail. The lake is fed by large springs at the base of a lava slope a few hundred feet southwest. The outlet of Hidden Lake is Buoy Creek. On the northwest side of the lake is a small bog which hosts a small population of mountain sundew, a relatively rare carnivorous plant.
