This craggy ridge rises between the East Fork McKenzie River and Walker Creek. Its uneven, jagged skyline is the result of Pleistocene glaciation, though no glaciers remain today and the ridge is mostly forested. The ridgeline has no trail along the crest, though the old Lowder Mountain trail passes along the hillsides to the south.
