Grasshopper Mountain

Grasshopper Mountain stands 5371 ft (1637 m) asl. Its west slope is a large meadow, which was once used as pasture for sheep. The summit was the site of a manned fire lookout from 1925 to 1958. The lookout was abandoned, and then destroyed in 1977.
