Blair Lake occupies a broad glacial basin on the west side of Mule Mountain. A small Forest Service campground is located on the northwest shore. The campground features 7 tent camping sites which are accessible by car, and a further 4 sites which require a short walk across the outlet stream. There is a boat ramp, and the lake is stocked with brook trout. Road access is via Forest Road 1934. On the east side of the lake a large meadow occupies the slopes leading toward Mule Mountain.
