3.5-story Greek-revival mercantile building originally completed in 1847 as a rowhouse. The 3-story bay-windowed storefront was installed in 1885. The brownstone entrance entablature (with pilasters), stoop, four surviving window openings (with simple lintels and sills) at the upper floors, and wood cornice remain from the building's original condition. Next to the stoop is a small set of steps down to the black cast-iron basement (part of the projecting bay). Each level of the projecting bay has a cornice. The upper floors are red-painted brick, with three single-windows at the top floor, below a simple metal roof cornice.

The building's early commercial tenants were dressmakers. The basement is occupied by Rhom Thai restaurant.
