DeLand, FL, Amtrak Station (DLD)

USA / Florida / West De Land / Old New York Avenue, 2491
 Amtrak, train station

The DeLand Amtrak Station code is DLD. DeLand serves as the transfer station for Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach service to Daytona Beach (DYA).

Built in 1918 as "DeLand Junction", the station benefited from a major restoration project in 2006. It currently receives four trains a day, Amtrak's "Silver Meteor" and "Silver Star" passenger trains.

DeLand used to be a stop for the "Sunset Limited", which was suspended east of New Orleans on August 28, 2005, following Hurricane Katrina. A decision has not yet been made regarding restoration of that service.
