5-story residential building originally completed in the early 19th century as a 3.5-story house with a peaked roof. The attic story was enlarged to a full floor in 1884, with a new top floor also constructed. It is three bays wide, with grey-painted cement stucco surfaces, and painted brick on the 2nd floor, which has a wide central studio window. A black iron fire escape runs down the right two-thirds of the facade, which is topped by a black iron roof cornice with modillions.

By 1911, it was in use as a factory; later as a wine and liquor bottling plant and warehouse, and then as offices on the upper floors. It is currently residential; the ground floor is occupied by Butter restaurant.
