3-story brick office building completed in 1825 as a 2.5-story dwelling, with basically the same look as No. 139 Greene Street next door. In 1886 the building was altered for use as a store and lofts. The third story and the iron ornamental details were added at that time. The facade is clad in white-painted brick on the upper floors with three bays of windows. There are corbelled brick panels between the 2nd & 3rd floors. At the roof line, the four piers extend above a black dentil course, projecting slightly forward of the spaces between and decorated with black iron ornament. A black metal coping caps the facade. The building now houses the Aesthetic Realism Foundation.
