2-story commercial building originally completed in about 1860 with 4 floors. The top two were removed and the facade completely redone in 1920. The building extends through the block to Crosby Street, where it has a wider 6-bay facade. The Broadway facade has a modern metal and glass storefront on the ground floor, with beige brick above. The brick roof parapet is stepped up in the center and at the sides, with a stone coping and rounded caps at the ends. The rear facade on Crosby has a green cast-iron ground floor, with red brick on 2nd floor. The building is occupied by H&M, a Swedish-based apparel retailer; H&M stands for Hennes & Mauritz.
