4-story office building completed in 1855 as a store. The 2nd floor is beige cast-iron, with large plate-glass windows below at modillioned and dentiled cornice. The two upper floors are clad in red brick and have round-arched windows with stone moldings and keystones, and stone sills with corbelled feet. The building is topped by a bracketed roof cornice, and has a black iron fire escape running down the facade, with basket-style landings. The ground floor is occupied by David Z. shoes.
