 commercial building  Add category

3-story commercial building completed in 1960. The ground floor and the beveled molding that frames the whole facade are limestone, with the upper floors in dark-red brick. The ground floor has a bronze-and-glass storefront, with two glass doors at the left, under a peaked, black canvas canopy, and another door at the right, on the other side of a plate-glass window. The upper floors have wide bands of five windows in black metal framing. The building is occupied by Patsy's restaurant. It was founded by Pasquale "Patsy" Scognamillo in 1944. In over 70 years of existence, Patsy's has had only three chefs: the late Patsy himself, his son Joe Scognamillo (who has been at the establishment since the age of seven) and Joe's son Sal Scognamillo (who has been manning the kitchen since 1988).
