4-story commercial building completed in 1946 as a dairy facility. It is clad in reddish-brown brick, with redder brick in bands between the upper floors and along the roof line. The ground floor is extra tall, with the appearance of two levels. Along the west facade, there are six bays of triple-window openings filled by glass blocks near the sidewalk, and the main entrance near the north end, with a recessed glass-and-metal door and sidelight next to a square of glass blocks. There is a black metal screen above this bay. To the north the upper part of the ground floor has a wide window bay with 5-over-4 panes in aluminum framing, while there are two more matching bays to the south of the entrance. These bays are repeated on the 2nd floor, with another above the entrance, and another at the far north end, with all five joined by a white stone sill. Further south, the four other bays have double-height windows across the 1st-2nd floors, with slightly larger 3-over-4 panes at each floor. The southernmost end bay has another 4-over-4 bay at the 2nd floor.
A projecting concrete band separates the upper floors, extending farther out across most of the southern half of the facade, but not at the south end. The 3rd floor has 10 large bays of 5-over-6 windows, and the 4th floor has similar bays mostly with larger 4-over-2 panes (the lower ones taller) - except for the south end bay, which has smaller 4-over-5 panes.
The north facade on 48th Street has a wide garage door at the west end of the ground floor. To the east are two wide bays of glass blocks, with smaller glass-block-filled openings below them near the sidewalk. The east end has a metal service door. The upper floors have four large bays, with 6-over-4 or 5-over-4 windows on the 2nd floor, 6-over-6 or 5-over-6 windows on the 3rd floor, and 4-over-2 windows with larger panes on the 4th floor. There are also projecting concrete bands above each floor that bend 90-degrees at the east end and continue down the facade in three lines.
The south facade on 47th Street has a recessed metal service door at the west end of the ground floor. To the right is a double-window, and above both is a large 4-over-4 window. Continuing east, the lower part of the ground floor has two low, long openings with glass blocks covered by metal screens, and above are two large bays of 6-over-4 windows. The east end has a large garage door and another metal service door. The upper floors have four window bays like those on the north facade.
