  • Mr. Ram Prasad Mehra was a leading businessman civil contractor of the late 19th century and early 20th century. He started the lime stone furnace in Dehri. He also had a significant share of zamindari of the area. He developed this estate as his residence cum work place with two units, which are still there. The arched gate was a landmark on Pali Road. It was then called 'Mehra House', which later renamed as Mehra Bhawan.
