Ravnets Air Base

Abandoned military air base. During the communist era this air base was home of some of the best squadrons of jet fighters (MiG-29) in Bulgaria. After its closing the airplanes was dislocated to Graf Ignatievo air base near Plovdiv.

  • Yes, a lot of movement there actually ...but from scrap scavengers only. All reduced to rubble.
