The Burgas region is one of the twenty eight administrative regions within Bulgaria. The region has a total land area of 7 748.1 sq.km., that making it the 1sth largest in Bulgaria. The region consists thirteen municipalities: Aytos, Burgas, Kameno, Karnobat, Malko Tarnovo, Nesebar, Pomorie, Primorsko, Ruen, Sozopol, Sredets, Sungurlare and Tsarevo with total population of 409 750 people (4-th) (09.2020).
