"Neftochim Burgas" oil refinery, owned by the Russian petroleum company "Lukoil" is one of the biggest in Eastern Europe. Here work more than 4000 people. It is one of the major corporations in Bulgaria with total income of about 4 bill. euros per year. This production plant also made Burgas valley one of the most polluted areas in the country.
