Second World War 1939-1945, gate, place with historical importance
Entrance gate.
In addition to the gate to the prison camp, there was a separate gate for the guards. The guardhouse was used to control all incoming and outgoing people, especially the columns of prisoners. 1943/44 the surviving stone gate facility was built, which together with the now disappeard main gate acted as a lock. During the times the complex was in use by the Sovjets the gates have changed significantly.
