Berlin is the capital city of Germany and one of the sixteen states of the Federal Republic of Germany. With a population of 3.4 million in its city limits, Berlin is the country's largest city. The INSEE reports it to be the second most populous city proper and the ninth most populous urban area in the European Union. Located in north-eastern Germany, it is the centre of the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan area, comprising 4.9 million people from over 180 nations.

  • Those are extremely dumb comments. Germany has moved on. In Germany, they are embarrassed about a lot of the 20th century history. Don't even TRY to mock it. I know someone who made a Hitler gesture at an airport in Los Angeles without realizing he was in front of a crowd of German tourists. He was almost beaten up. Don't even try it at the Brandenburg gate.
