Great Stechlin Lake

Great Stechlin lake is between Stechlin-Neuglobsov, Brandenburg, and Rheinsberg Nuclear Power Station. It is about 4.25 square kilometers and 69.5 meters deep. Under favorable circumstances, the lake has a visibility depth of about 11 m, and is one of the cleanest lakes in Brandenburg. The water is of drinking quality.
