Twenty9th Park Madison

USA / New Jersey / West New York / East 29th Street, 39
 skyscraper, condominium

345-foot, 34-story modernist residential building completed in 2008. Designed by H. Thomas O'Hara, the 132-unit tower is known as Twenty9th Park Madison. The ground floor has a central, glassed-in entrance "cube" flanked by walls with horizontal strips of beige stone. There is a garage door in the western wall and a small service door in the eastern one. Both are capped by silver metal bands with plantings on top.

The recessed tower portion rises straight up to the roof line, clad in a curtain wall of metal-framed windows, tinted by green window treatments. White pre-cast concrete piers divide the south facade into a center bay of five panes, flanked by a bay of three panes, and end bays of two panes. The two outer piers end at the 6th floor, above which the now-wider end bays also have three panes. The two remaining outer piers end two floors below the main roof line, with the two center piers framing the center bay and half of each adjoining bay that extends up above the main roof line for two more floors. There are windows in the center, with the half-bays clad in concrete.

The side facades are faced in beige pre-cast concrete, with two bays of small, narrow, horizontal windows in the center. The rear facade is clad in concrete up to the 14th floor, where a similar curtain wall to the one on the south facade begins.
