Notes: The park's namesake is former Denver Parks Manager George Cranmer, who was responsible for many important city projects during his tenure. These included constructing Red Rocks amphitheater, acquiring the Winter Park Ski Area, building parkways, making improvements to the channels of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River, as well as developing and improving parks within the city. Cranmer's former personal residence is located along the eastern boundary of the park, and is also listed on the NRHP.
