The Hilltop neighborhood gets it name from the fact that it is higher in elevation than the surrounding parts of the city. In the center of the neighborhood is Cranmer Park, with a view of the Front Range mountains. It is one of Denver's wealthiest neighborhoods. It was developed in the 1940s and 1950s, but now many of the original houses are being replaced with larger homes on the medium-sized lots.

  • This designation is not correct. The Hilltop neighborhood stretches from Colorado Boulevard on the west to Holly Street on the east, not as shown here...where it reaches all the way to Quebec Street, at least in part. From Holly Street to Monaco Blvd, and from Sixth Avenue south to Bayaud Avenue, the neighborhood is called Crestmoor Park, like the Denver city park it contains. East of Monaco, around the old Whiteman School, I'm not sure.
  • prairiedad, the designation is correct. The City of Denver's maps designating neighborhoods shows that the irregular eastern border of Hilltop Neighborhood extends in places to Quebec St. just as is shown here. Hilltop includes "Crestmoor Park" and "Mayfair Park". For reference, visit https://www.denvergov.org/media/gis/WebDocs/Citywide/Neighborhoods.pdf
