This park called Shoghab because of a very small and ancient village beside it. This village is next to a very old neighborhood called Davvas. There are many struggles between people in the area about the title of the park.

There was a soccer match ground in this place before, while the municipality of Boushehr replaced the park instead. This park has been placed by the side of the beach of Persian Gulf.
