Gerash (Persian: گراش) is a city in Fars province,southwest of Iran.
As of 2010, Gerash city is the capital of Gerash County. People of Gerash speak Gerashi, a language with 2 main branches: Nassagi(western part of city) and Barqe-Roozi (commonly known as Belalizi in eastern part of city). Despite the high volatility in population due to seasonal migration, the population is estimated to be at around 50,000 Gerashis.
