Yasuj (Persian: یاسوج) is the capital of the Kohkiluyeh and Buyer Ahmad province (originally a part of Fars province) in southwestern Iran, which covers an area of approximately 15,563 km² in the Zagros Mountains. It had an estimated population of 136,509 in 2005.
