The bulk of the strategic Bushehr region's military and special-restricted facilities are within the outline. The nuclear reactor, scheduled for August 2010 start-up, is at the southern end. Near the airport and near the reactor campus, an anti-aircraft / mobile-missile facility is present on average every 2000 feet.
