The name of the subdivision according to residents is "Colton Meadow" but according to official records (New Castle Parcel data), "Colton Meadows".

This is a residential subdivision with no ongoing development activity. There are two roadway entrances, one off of Cox Neck Road to the North, the other off of St. George's Road to the West. There is a posted 25 mile per hour speed limit in this subdivision. The name of the subdivision is posted near both entrances on government signs and at the main Cox Neck Road entrance by a resident provided sign.
