  • I remember that Texaco had a hand in preserving this area when they used to run the refinery. I went to Gunning Bedford Middle and we used to take nature hikes and canoe rides through this area sponsored by Texaco
  • Interesting geographic tidbit: Dragon Run;s natural outflow was towards the C&D Canal before its 20th century expansion. Due to the dredging and depositing of silt, the creek was re-routed on its current course to the Delaware River.
