This farm was purchased by the State of Delaware in the early 1990s from the Ash Family for the purposes of historical preservation of the farmhouse and preservation of the surrounding farmland (given its proximity to its sister home, Buena Vista).

  • Forgot to add that this farm was at the center of a little scandal in the early 1990s involving several DE government members whose names (Kermit the Frog) will remain unsaid.
